I hired DeAnna at 5 Star Dog Training for my dog's personal trainer She does it all and does it very well: Behavior, obedience, therapy, agility, even aggression for aggressive dogs. She also offers free nutritional advise for dogs of all ages and even failing and old dogs and cats included. Anytime I had a question or needed extra training, DeAnna immediately was available. I have to say, even my dog loves her like a family member and can't contain himself when he sees her. She definitely is a pro and knows what she is doing. She even helped my dog with his eye issues and gave us natural remedies to try. She babysat my dog for me and he had so much fun, that now DeAnna will be our #1 dog sitter. He even loved playing with her beautiful cats. ~ priya k

Had searched and searched for a trainer for our 8 month old Olde English Bulldogge, he knows all the basic commands and does them when he wants! He is very sweet but had issues with mouthing and jumping. We are senior's and he is a big boy. came across Deanna's website was impressed with the reviews so gave her a call. So glad I did. Had our first lesson with Deanna today Vhagar loves her!! responded to all her commands. She went ABOVE and BEYOND kept in touch all week before our appointed time explains things so clearly. He is responding to what we have learned and I'm sure we are on our way to being a complete family unit. We are definitely looking into the diet you recommended. Deanna is awesome! She came at a time when we were in fear of what was going to happen to our Major because he was acting aggressively. One of the most important things I took away from our training with Deanna was that Major was not the problem we were. We did not understand his communication to us and therefore not understanding his needs. With her help we are now able to take Major to a dog park and we are all learning how to respect eachother and what our dogs needs are. Major is now thriving thanks to the tools we have and we get to utilize those same tools with our new baby Sprit. Major went from growling and lunging people and other animals to completely being disinterested (for the most part) unless it's to play. We are so thankful to Deanna with 5 Star Dog Training and will definitely use her in the future ~ Danielle G

DeAnna has her own unique style of dog training. She has had a way with animals, like none other, starting at a young age. I have had the privilege, first hand, of observing her magnificent way of handling all sorts of animals, not just canines.Even the most vicious animals, that others have not had success with.She gives free advice on nutrition to lengthen their longevity. I highly recommend her services! She did training with my dog.Years later she came to visit my dog & he remembered all of the tricks that she had taught him. I called DeAnna in literal tears about a week ago! My fiancé and I recently had to move out of our apartment because we kept receiving complaints from my neighbor about my doggies! I’ve never gotten complaints and I’ve pretty much always rented! It took a huge toll on my mental & created lots of anxiety for me and my fiancé! I was so afraid I’d have to rehome my babies.. after just one session DeAnna has given me so much peace of mind and hope for my dogs! They are already doing amazing at controlling their barking and seperation anxiety! I highly recommend DeAnna! She’s an angel in my eyes and definitely a dog whisperer if I ever saw one lol! Deanna worked wonders for our family! She taught our 2 dogs to be more obedient around our baby and also worked on their aggression towards food. Our dogs used to hover and pounce at the first sight of food dropped on the floor, especially while our toddler was eating in his high chair… Now our baby can walk around freely, even with food in his hand, without my worry of the dogs grabbing it out of his hand. Deanna really understands animals, she was very informative about their behaviors and nutrition as well. We got a a dog from the shelter a year ago that quickly grew from 35 lbs to 90 and we didn’t know how to control some of her behaviors. From our very first lesson DeAnna has been able to teach us how to work on behaviors such as dog jumping, nipping, staying in her place and not running away. I wish we had found out about her sooner because the results were truly life changing. I also have a 8 lb chihuahua and Deanna has been educating us on natural healing during a time when she got a paw injury and educated us on dog food/treats and how to best meet our dogs needs. Deanna is amazing. We have a 12 week old German Shepard Akita mix who is a great dog and has so much potential but we weren’t quite sure how to tap into it! In only 2 sessions so far(we will be continuing with Deanna all throughout his adolescence) he has completely changed! He is able to do things we didn’t even think possible at his age and Deanna has guided us through everything from behaviors, obedience, nutrition, grooming and everything in between. She’s one of a kind! Highly recommend 5 star dog training. Yes, it’s true, you can go get training at pertsmart or petco for less but I can tell you right now it won’t be as personalized or as effective as Deanna’s private sessions. She really cares about your pet and your family, and it’s done in your own environment! A dog is at least a decade commitment and hopefully longer if you listen to Deanna’s nutrition advice! DeAnna is such an amazing dog trainer. I have 1 1/2 yr old English Bulldog that is intact. If you have ever had a bulldog then you know how stubborn they are. Well after the first lesson my Winchester was walking next to me instead of pulling. I did buy the training leash she offered and that has been a tremendous help! She has helped me with some of his skin issues and nutrition. His urine is no longer dark. I have had 2 lessons so far and everyone is amazed how well he is doing. DeAnna brings actual food treats and really knows what she is doing. I am so happy to have found someone who actually cares about making animals better. ~ Amy R

DeAnn is beyond amazing …My brother and I rescued a boxer/ pitbull mix. She’s helping guide this sometimes overbearing , sometimes misunderstood sweet but very strong pup. With him jumping over the fence I didn’t know where to turn. She was my first call and I instantly felt she was there to help me. I like her take charge and I’m finding it’s exactly what our dog needed with proper learning tools along the way. After our Jack Russell Terrier, Kimchi, was attacked by another dog, he started showing signs of aggression towards other dogs. We were heartbroken and unsure how to help him, so we decided to work with a professional and we’re so glad we found Deanna. From day one, she helped us understand that Kimchi wasn’t truly aggressive he just needed guidance and support from us. Deanna also helped us address some deep-rooted fears Kimchi had around men, which he had since he was a puppy. Her patient, thoughtful approach made all the difference. Today, Kimchi is a completely different dog, happy, confident, and able to enjoy public spaces and even dog parks again. DeAnna has been amazing!! My 2 pups, 1 year old corgi and 11 month old border collie were struggling. Even after the first visit there was a difference. She's great at explaining everything and following up with the homework she gives. Day 1, Stella(border) snapped and barked at her. By the last visit, she ran up into her arms. No running out the door, learning their place, and even stopped the barking at the kiddos on the trampoline! She's so informative of dog food, health and behaviors. I'd recommend her over and over. I have had the unique opportunity to assist Deanna Lee on more than a few training sessions, and I can tell you first hand that her love for these beautiful animals surpasses anything I've ever seen. DeAnna is AWESOME! Not only is she super fun to work with, she is incredible at what she does. I went to her for help with my Great Dane puppy, and after a few sessions, mine and his life was truly improved for the better. Before DeAnna, my puppy would grab at annnything - biting everything he could get his hands on. After one session with DeAnna, she was able to teach him “leave it,” and since then, there has been a remarkable improvement in this behavior. This is my 2nd time calling Deanna. The 1st time was when I moved into an apartment last year. She trained me on walking, feeding, and commands. We had 4 lessons that time and each one was so helpful! Now I have called her back. I bought a house and now my boy has become aggressive towards other dogs. My dog Winchester loves her and is very attentive towards her training. We have also started working on other things now that he isn't allowed on the couch or my bed. Deanna is a 10 star dog trainer and pet sitter. We never left our dog with anyone for a long time until we found her and saw that we can trust her. She is very kind and loves dogs and even trained our dog while our dog was staying with her. She walked our dog every day too and sent us pictures and videos. She went above and beyond and made home made dog foods with vegetables and gave our dog multi vitamins and never charged us extra. Working with DeAnna has been great! My wife and I have a 5 year old shipoo and a 7 month old Maltese mix that is a rescue. We've struggled with our existing training methods and DeAnna has helped us understand his behaviors more and work with him in different ways to help him progress away from his traumatic background. DeAnna has provided nutrition advice alongside our training sessions and helped us identify a UTI that one of our dogs had. I can’t recommend 5 Star Dog training enough. My pup, a pug mix, was nipping, suffering from separating anxiety, only knew a couple basic commands, and having problems with a leash. DeAnna was able sort out all of Porter’s issues in her puppy training course and was like an entirely new dog afterwards. Additionally, DeAnna was very communicative and was always open to answering my questions (Porter also became very attached to her, which is the sign of a good trainer imo). Overall, a fantastic experience and would highly recommend. ~ Chris B

I hired Deanna to train my 18 month old puppy. My pup liked to bolt out the door and run like crazy around my neighborhood. She ran into traffic once and I realized I needed help. Deanna had my pup staying in the house with the door open on day 1. It was amazing! She hasn't run around the neighborhood since her first session. Deanna has so many tricks up her sleeve to get dogs to behave. We worked on many behavioral problems with my pup and I really feel like I learned a lot from Deanna. ~ Yvette N

I cannot recommend Deanna enough! She has been absolutely amazing with my dogs — patient, knowledgeable, and truly passionate about what she does. Deanna was a great help for my pitbull. My dog used to jump on humans a lot and was a pain to take to the dog park because she was untrained. Now my pitbull has seen amazing improvements. Deanna has shown me a lot of tips and tricks when training my dog. She also helped clean and bandage my dogs paw when she got cut at the dog park. She truly loves and cares about the animals. I contacted 5 star training for my puppy, however my 16 year old Dutch Shepherd who was expected to pass received 2nd life do to the counsel of Deanna.. this 16 year old now goes outdoors without problems and now goes up and down stairs without help. Amazing! She has not had that much energy for a long time! She has done excellent with our puppy and the 16 year old! I highly recommend! ~ Richard M

It’s simple, Deanna is a pro. My 4 month old, Cane Corso, Amos, immediately felt the leadership from Deanna. Very patient, not harsh, encouraging, taught me to be even more encouraging to Amos.
